A night in the forest

Experience the natural forest of the Eifel with us, explore the secret life of the trees, light a crackling campfire with your own hands, and unwind in the evening under the open night sky...

During our two-day event “A Night Under the Open Sky” you will experience the forest up close in a small, sociable group led by Jan (forester).

Together we'll hike through our ecologically managed Eifel forest. During the hikes, you'll experience the secret life of the trees.

In the evening, we'll build a campfire together and enjoy a delicious trapper's meal cooked in a pan. Equipped with sleeping mats and sleeping bags, we'll spend the night under the stars, with only the treetops above us. The next morning, we'll prepare a breakfast of bannock (bread cooked in a pan) and cowboy coffee from an enamel pot before hiking back to our starting point.

We look forward to sharing a very special forest experience with you.
The event begins at 2:00 PM on the first day and ends at 10:00 AM on the second day.
We reserve the right to cancel the event at short notice if unacceptable weather is forecast.

Please bring a sleeping mat, a sleeping bag, and weatherproof clothing; if needed, you can also bring an outdoor hammock.
