Join us for an exciting walk through Cologne's Stadtgarten and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of birds for an afternoon!
Together with Antonia Coenen – filmmaker, podcaster ( “Good to Birds” ) and bird book author – we explore the local birdlife. Among the bushes and treetops, we encounter robins, chaffinches, and blackbirds, while from above we hear the exotic croaking of ring-necked parakeets and Alexandrine parakeets. These impressive parrots settled in Cologne as early as the 1970s and now live peacefully alongside the native songbirds.
Antonia Coenen provides exciting insights into the lives of birds in Cologne and shows how we can support them in everyday life – be it on the balcony, in the garden or in the city.
